Second, avoid all distractions. This includes texting, using the radio, and even eating. Bottom line, do not take any action which may take your eyes off of the road.

Third, always drive within the speed limit. When you are driving faster than the speed limit, it will be more difficult to brake and avoid a collision with the car in front of you.

00:13  the first step is to maintain a safe
00:15  distance with the vehicle in front of
00:17  you
00:18  obviously
00:19  the larger the gap between your vehicle

00:24  time you have to stop in the event the
00:26  vehicle in front of you stops or breaks
00:28  suddenly
00:30  the second step you can take to avoid
00:33  rear-end collisions is to avoid
00:34  distractions
00:35  this would include

00:51  within the speed limits
00:53  obviously the faster you go
00:55  the more difficult it is going to be to
00:58  break in the event the car in front of
00:59  you stops suddenly
