When meeting with car accident clients, I often get this question: If I file an injury claim will my car insurance go up? This is a great question! Indeed, it is important to know if your car insurance will increase if you file an injury claim.

Under Florida Statute Section 626.9541, your car insurance cannot go up unless you were “substantially at fault.”
